This system was specially designed for the automated in-house transport of empty and loaded industrial pallets (1,200 × 1,000 mm, max. 500 kg). It is used wherever pallets need to be fed into a robot cell and safely transported onwards after loading - for example in production logistics or in modern packaging lines.

A complete solution for pallet transport usually consists of the mechanical components, the electrical system with circuit diagram, customised software with system visualisation, as well as the installation of the system with commissioning and production support.

The mechanical components include roller conveyors, chain conveyors, turntables and lift transfer units etc.. These are supplemented with appropriate sensors for automation. After installation on site and the corresponding electrical wiring to the control cabinet with PLC control, the software can be loaded and the system put into operation. Depending on customer requirements and the complexity of the system, production support is also possible.

The aim: a smooth, efficient and low-maintenance transport process for heavy loads - in a confined space and with maximum process reliability.

1. Task:
   Empty pallets are placed on the conveyor system - either manually or using a forklift truck. A lateral guide ensures precise alignment at the loading point.

2. Conveyance to the filling station:
   Driven roller conveyors transport the pallets lengthways or crossways. A change of direction is made possible by a stroke transfer unit with support chain conveyor or by a turntable.

3. Alignment at the robot station:
   The pallet is automatically brought to an exact loading position - an essential factor for the precise work of the robot.

4. Further transport:
   After loading, the pallet is conveyed to the end of the system where it is ready for removal by pallet truck or forklift.
