Aktivia Group visits TEGEL-TECHNIK
On 11 November 2025, Tegel-Technik welcomed around 20 members of the Aktivia group for an in-depth factory tour. The group, consisting of dedicated pensioners, regularly organises joint excursions - and this time decided to take a look behind the scenes at the family-run company, which has been rooted in Giengen since 1982.
After a brief introduction, Ralf and Nina Tegel gave the guests a tour of the company and provided exciting insights into the company's development, the wide-ranging product and service portfolio and the areas of activity in mechanical design, assembly and mechanical and electrical production.
Mechanical construction
A 3D model of a complete system aroused particular interest. Using this digital model, motion sequences were simulated and typical work steps of a mechanical designer were clearly demonstrated. This gave visitors a vivid impression of how sophisticated projects are digitally planned and further developed at Tegel-Technik.
Training and promoting young talent
One trainee proudly presented a trainee project that he had planned and realised independently - a fully functional system that is presented at training fairs. The guests also learnt that Tegel-Technik has been training apprentices since the company was founded and attaches great importance to promoting young talent.
Mechanical production - turning & milling
In the machining department, employees demonstrated the difference between milling and turning. Various finished parts were used to show which workpieces are manufactured using which processes and how precisely the modern machines work.
A successful conclusion
To round off the event, Tegel-Technik invited all guests to a cosy drink with fresh Berliners - in keeping with the anniversary of the business registration in 1982. 40 years of company history were toasted together.
Tegel-Technik would like to thank the Aktivia group for the visit and the great interest - it was a pleasure to welcome the guests to the company.
