Focal points of the training programme
As an industrial mechanic, you are a sought-after expert for industrial production systems and ensure that everything runs smoothly. You will monitor production and mechanical process sequences and ensure that machines and systems are always ready for operation and function optimally.
During your training at TEGEL-TECHNIK, you will have a wide range of tasks: you will be responsible for production, assembly and disassembly, inspect and optimise, and carry out maintenance and repairs. As an industrial mechanic for mechanical and plant engineering, you will manufacture mechanical components using manual production processes and CNC machines, e.g. for milling, turning and drilling. Due to the high level of vertical integration at our company, you will work closely with various production departments, including the machining, metalworking, welding, assembly and electrical departments.
Your tasks will also include instructing customers on machines, systems and control and regulation equipment. You will carry out maintenance work, troubleshooting and fault finding to keep our customers' machines, systems and plants and their control and regulation equipment in good working order.
Training as an industrial mechanic specialising in mechanical and plant engineering is a dual apprenticeship. This means you have theoretical phases at vocational school and learn practical skills at our company and at our training partner Voith in Heidenheim. At TEGEL-TECHNIK, you will be an integral part of the team right from the start, will be involved in day-to-day business and will take on tasks independently. You will always have a contact person at your side, because communication, team spirit and collegial interaction are very important to us.
