Handling systems are the economical alternative to robots and help to optimise workflows and make every handling process more efficient. Our handling systems enable the precise and automated movement of goods that are difficult for employees to lift, hold or move. They facilitate the lifting, positioning, turning and manipulation of workpieces and optimise material transport in industrial environments. Whether irregularly shaped goods or heavy loads - our handling systems handle large quantities of conveyed goods even in demanding working conditions and ensure safe, precise handling.
Handling systems
Handling technology for material handling and automation
Our handling technology is available both as a stand-alone solution and as an integrated component of our conveyor systems. Tailored to specific conveyed goods and processes, handling systems can be operated both pneumatically and motorized. In addition to our handling systems, we offer a wide range of conveyor technology components, including roller conveyors, chain conveyors and palette conveyor technology. You can find a selection of our realised projects here.
Advantages of handling systems from TEGEL-TECHNIK
Broad range of applications: Our handling systems can be used in numerous industrial sectors and are suitable for a wide range of tasks such as lifting, turning, assembling or precise positioning of workpieces.
Individuality & flexibility: We develop our handling technology individually according to the requirements of your company and the properties of your conveyed goods. This means that our industrial manipulators can be seamlessly integrated into existing systems.
Robust & reliable: Our systems are made of high-quality materials and are specially designed for demanding applications and heavy workpieces. This guarantees maximum reliability and a long service life.
Efficiency & economy: Our handling systems reduce the workload of employees, increase safety and optimise the flow of materials in production and warehouses. The automated process easily increases efficiency and reduces operating costs in the long term.
Everything from a single source: As a manufacturer with decades of experience in handling technology, we offer customised solutions and a high level of vertical integration with an extensive range of mechanical, electrical and software services.
Design and functionality of modern handling systems
The design of handling systems varies depending on the area of application and the type of goods to be conveyed. Basically, they consist of stable mechanical elements such as frames, levers and grippers, combined with electric or pneumatic axes and the corresponding control units. Depending on the requirements, the robust structure can be designed as a swivel arm, gantry or other design to enable precise movements and exact positioning.
Depending on the application, manipulators are equipped with grippers or vacuum suction cups to ensure that the conveyed goods are held securely in place. The drive technology can be either pneumatic or motorised and is precisely controlled by an intelligent control unit. To ensure safe operation, our handling systems can be equipped with emergency stop switches, safety sensors, light grids and protective devices.
Handling systems in use
Our handling systems are used in numerous industries and applications:
Assembly & production: Precise positioning of components for semi-automated production processes.
Material handling: Automatic tilting stations for emptying boxes or palletising solutions for smooth logistics processes.
Swivelling and turning devices: Safe and ergonomic turning and tilting mechanisms for heavy loads.
Industrial manipulators: Automated gripping and suction systems for the precise placement of components.
Our customised handling systems optimise work processes, increase efficiency and enable the safe handling of heavy or sensitive conveyed goods. Contact us for personalised advice.
